About
History
ScrollTag is a small company started by Joshua Grauman, a pastor at a church plant in inner city LA called Cornerstone South LA (preaching/teaching, discipling, and counseling, see here for old sermons) and professor at Eternity Bible College (teaching as an adjunct professor in Hebrew, Greek, and various books of the Bible). Josh has a background in Computer and Electrical Engineering, receiving his B.S. in Computer Engineering and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO. and also a M.Div. from The Master's Seminary. ScrollTag began as a dream that Bible software would allow a user not only to search and study the text, but also to be able to organize and categorize years worth of notes taken studying the Bible so that those notes, ideas, and study would be readily accessible for years to come. Since then, ScrollTag has grown into a powerful Bible program, while still centered on that original goal.
Goals
Being a husband, pastor, and teacher will continue to be priorities for Josh. Yet ScrollTag was started in hopes that it can further Josh's highest priority, which is to glorify God through the building up of the body of Christ. There are two primary ways in which ScrollTag hopes to accomplish this goal. The first is through equipping Bible students, scholars, pastors and teachers with tools that are both powerful/effective and also low costs tools to help them in their study of God's Word. The second way in which ScrollTag hopes to build up the body of Christ is through using finances brought in from the sale of these tools. As Josh has studied God's Word, God's heart for the nations, for global worship, and for a global demonstration of His saving power has become increasingly clear. So Josh plans to use the resources entrusted to him through ScrollTag to further the gospel mission worldwide.
