Window scrolls back to horizontal home position after adding a note

If I have one-line turned on and I scroll to the right and add a note (ctrl-a with a word selected), after closing the note window the main window will scroll back to the left horizontal home position. I would prefer that the main window not scroll at all unless I manually make it do this. What this bug requires is that I am required to use the mouse and reposition the horizontal scroll after adding each note.
